About the Company
Dry lubricating coatings are used in many industries, particularly where conventional lubricants are unsuitable or undesirable. They are applied to lubricate components operating at high temperatures, in dusty environments, or in the presence of moisture, as well as in applications where cleanliness and freedom from contamination are essential, such as in the food processing industry.
Thanks to their unique properties, including high-temperature resistance, corrosion protection, and friction reduction, dry lubricants are indispensable in many critical applications. Dry-film lubricants consist of solid lubricating materials (most commonly molybdenum disulfide (MoS₂), graphite, PTFE, or boron nitride) dispersed in an organic or inorganic binder. A solvent is added to facilitate the application of the coating and evaporates during curing or drying.
Dry-film lubricant coatings are applied after careful surface preparation by dipping, spraying, or brushing. The resulting dry film typically has a thickness of 10–20 μm. It is resistant to heavy loads and extreme temperatures, does not attract dirt, and offers excellent chemical resistance as well as long-lasting lubrication performance.
Properties of Dry Lubricants
- High-temperature resistance – substances such as molybdenum disulfide and boron nitride remain stable at temperatures where conventional oils decompose.
- Low friction – dry lubricants form a thin film with a very low coefficient of friction, protecting surfaces from wear.
- Corrosion protection – the dry lubricant layer acts as a barrier, protecting metal surfaces from moisture and aggressive chemicals.
- Resistance to dust and contamination – unlike oil-based lubricants, dry lubricants do not attract dust and dirt, making them ideal for use in heavily contaminated environments.
Applications of Dry Lubrication
Industrial Applications
- Lubrication of guideways, bearings, gears, hinges, conveyor systems, and other machine components.
- Lubrication in high-temperature, dusty, and humid environments where conventional lubricants may fail or cause contamination.
- Lubrication of components in contact with food products, where cleanliness and contamination-free operation are required.
- Lubrication of gear drives and steel cables, especially in corrosion-prone environments.
- Lubrication of components subjected to high pressures and heavy loads.
- Applications in the automotive, aerospace, machinery manufacturing, mining, and steel industries.
Other Applications
- Lubrication of locks, hinges, and chains.
- Use in precision mechanisms and equipment where cleanliness and contamination-free operation are essential.
- Protection of components against corrosion and wear.
- Use in environments requiring resistance to high temperatures, dust, and aggressive conditions.
- Anti-friction coatings for metal, plastic, and ceramic surfaces.

GREASES
FCH – Longlife LCM 2
A multipurpose EP bearing grease designed for long-term lubrication. Thanks to its lithium-calcium complex formulation, it combines and significantly exceeds the performance characteristics of conventional lithium, calcium, and complex greases, providing maximum protection for lubricated components operating under heavy loads, elevated temperatures (up to +160°C), in the presence of water, and under other extreme conditions.
FCH – VAL LKM 2
FCH – PEG AKM 2 HV
FCH – Longlife 0 HD
Molyduval Pegasus BEP 2 HV
A synthetic high-temperature grease based on polyesters. Operating temperature range: -30°C to +230°C, with no dropping point.
MOLYDUVAL Polypan Brake DB 08301
(Current designation: Polypan Brake LM 2)
A brake system grease that complies with Deutsche Bahn standards.
High-Temperature Pastes
FCH – AntiSeize ALU Paste
FCH – BA 000 G Paste
FCH – CIR BE1K Chisel Paste
A copper-based high-temperature paste containing graphite.
Molyduval Paste MZ
An assembly and lubricating paste containing MoS₂. Approved for use in railway rolling stock and compliant with DB Stoff-Nr 076.06 and DB Material Number 00106428 specifications.
It is an extreme-pressure paste for lubrication under high temperatures and pressures. Also used as a lapping, assembly, and general-purpose paste. It reduces friction and wear while facilitating assembly and disassembly. MoS₂ particles protect against wear and running-in defects and provide excellent anti-friction properties.
Molyduval Titus BA 25 Z
A white, multipurpose lubricating and assembly paste for bearings and sliding components. It forms a thin, pressure-resistant solid lubricant film, preventing corrosion and reducing friction under high pressures and/or elevated temperatures.
Used as an assembly paste to facilitate installation and removal. Solid lubricants protect against wear, running-in defects, and ensure excellent anti-friction performance.
Operating temperature range: -30°C to +1160°C, with no dropping point.
Molyduval Soraja MP
A white assembly paste approved for use in the food industry, designed for lubrication under extreme loads (high pressures and elevated temperatures). It is also used as a lapping, assembly, and multipurpose paste.
The product reduces friction and wear, facilitates assembly and disassembly, and contains solid particles that protect against wear and running-in defects while ensuring excellent anti-friction properties. It is also suitable for bolts and nuts.
Complies with USDA H1 requirements for incidental food contact.
